The Portsmouth Public Education Foundation (PPEF) is proud to acknowledge the excellence and dedication of our public school teachers by awarding 18 grants this year totaling $15,363.00! PPEF announced their grant rewards for school year 2011/2012 at the Public School Teachers Orientation Meeting held on August 31. PPEF would like to recognize the Portsmouth Public School teachers, many who continue to go beyond their regular curriculum, to provide a unique and educational learning experience to their students.
Teacher of the Year 2011 will be announced at our upcoming Fall Showcase in November.
